Trying to prise open my creative side (thanks to those who encouraged me).

    THE RIDE

I want my list ticked, but it's never quite done,
I want to be healthy, but the next problem comes,
I want all the answers - my knowledge to grow,
But the more I keep learning, the less that I know.

Life once just happened with freedom and ease,
But then came the doubt - the ultimate disease.
I'm seeking and striving, but still it hangs on,
Caught in the beat of the old plaintive song,

So when comes the moment I live and let live?
The peaceful release as I truly forgive?
One day I'm close, but the next day it's gone,
One day I'm loved, the next all alone.

When the ride is slowing with only memories held dear,
I trust the confusion will all start to clear,
And the highs and the lows, the laughter and tears...
Will bring a smile of remembrance of why I was here.

    You are extremely eloquent.

    I feel your words.

I can apply them to my life as it is today!

It feels spiritual and empowering...to me

May I put your lovely poem in my journal?

Please keep writing, doesn't it feel good to put it to paper, and just take deep cleansing breathes.

I want to continue seeing your creative perspective, as sometimes it mimics my reality!

Thank you Gina! You are so right about the big cleansing breathes... amazing how something so simple can be so important, and forgotten!
I feel honoured that you would want to put this in your journal.
    Best wishes to you.

I'm remembering a lot I have forgotten, too.

It's a burden, having to be so pro-active.

If you like to write, start a journal, too.

I bought black marble composition notebook, I got 3, I'm gonna need more! LOL

You are a fine young woman.

I'm honored to converse with such a deep spirit.

I need more for my journal, one day it might be a book!!
