Tattoo Heaven

The tattoo gods have spoken to me
for many, many moons
"No", I said
not ready for this
maybe never
and yet
I draw a cupcake
in yellow, orange, and pink
and after a little pain
it sits on my right ankle.

I love it. I have tattoos. Got my first when I was forty. Got my last a few weeks ago, a black rose on my right foot. I like it because I can look at it all of the time. Tattoos are addictive.

 

Gina, I am getting that feeling. I have a few other ideas.... I use my own drawings too.

 

Yeah man. Never get tattoed with somebody elses idea. Always go in with your own idea. I've got 7 and they're all sort of hidden nobody sees them unless I want them too. They're addictive too so be careful about overdoing it.

 

I have 5 now, I love them all. Never a regret.

 

Maybe we need to start a tattoo forum and swap tattoo pics! Maybe I am in the bucket list phase of my life.

 

I've got 8. Love all of them too, and mine are also in places that won't show unless I want them to.
