One day, not far off...............I will not have to look over my shoulder, the pressure on my chest lifted, I can breathe deep............I can stack the cans in the cabinet unorganized.

    Mya46 Knowledge is POWER!

Caras photos just really bring me somewhere special....a place I knew a long time ago. :) This forum and it's members all have such offerings but it's so refreshing to really "feel" something from her photos. I used to have a photographic eye similiar to Cara but I lost it many moons ago with illness and depression...thanks for the memories Cara and the inspiration.

Stack those cans anyway you want woman and fill the rooms with "your" photos! ;)
    ;)

    Today time is endless.
    Tomorrow is way over there.
    I relax and breathe deeply.
    My wife loves me.
    I love her.
Our dogs are sweet and good.
Our yarden is thick with growing things.
Just today I saw a mayfly alight on the water.
    I celebrate simplicity.
    I cherish every second.
    The barn needs painting.
    It will wait until Spring.

Our old bodies have rivers of lost blue veins
    gray hairs and odd marks
    saggings and dimples
    pains and parts missing

but they remember those hours of sweaty
    love, those sweet hours
    passionate years

    and an echo of this
    rooted in our souls
    returns

    and you come back
    for one more kiss
    and one more
    kiss.

a caress, a kiss, a caress and a kiss as though it was the first time because it is still good, still sweet, still exciting, maybe better.

Hey thornapple, I like this a lot. It is a wise thing that you have posted.

(actually, he was in his CAR, and I was in the shower, when he got out of the car and came back inside for one more kiss---and then one more. It was so sweet. And confused the hell out of the dog.)

  20. i sit at the computer, sock feet still cold from cold drafty sliding glass door. I curl my toes down thinking that will work, to no avail. I try stacking them on top of eachother, slightly amused that this works. I dream of the hot oklahoma sun that I usually gripe about until its gone. Still I sit here because although my toes are chilly, my heart is warm and I am joyfully full from a wonderful dinner. I am blessed. ;D
