I have gained do much from this forum and wanted to share something I learned. I wear glasses (pretty blind without them). After the surgery and I finally got to take ear thingy off after 24 hrs, the bow of my glasses hit right on the incision behind my ear. My hubby took my glasses to eye dr and they straightened the bows so I can wear them and see again. They said they will bend them back to fit my ears after I heal more. Anyway, thought this might help someone else. :)

I actually just wore my glasses on the outside of my ear until I could wear them normal again. Go idea to have the eye dr adjust them. You'll find that it will take some time to fell comfortable wearing your glasses on the incision area. It's been six months it still bothers me from time to time.
