Not Sleeping - Ideas?

    Well went to the doc and since I'm going to my MM specialist on February 1st she recommends not beginning anything new til I see him. I'm ok with this as I agree probably best to not add anything to my meds til I see him b/c it's next week. I'm drunk, dizzy running into stuff, vision is blurred, headaches. I am getting sick just being in the vehicle b/c of movement. I'm dong a lot of things I was doing when I first got sick. This was about it when I ask her about sleeping ....

    * Learn relaxation and deep breathing techniques.
    * Clear your head of concerns by writing a list of activities that need to be completed the next day and tell yourself you'll think about it tomorrow.
    * Get regular exercise, no later than a few hours before bedtime.
    * Don't use caffeine, alcohol, or nicotine in the evening.
    * Don't lie in bed tossing and turning.
    * Get out of bed and do something in another room when you cant sleep.
    * Go back to bed when you're feeling drowsy.
    * Use the bed only for sleeping and sexual activity.
    * Don't lie in bed to watch TV or read. This way, your bed becomes a cue for sleeping, not for lying awake.


    It's a 20 minute drive to see her and that made me quite sick vertigo and sick to my stomach, I came home and took meds an went to bed. I won't be here but to post this as I'm still not feeling well. I'd said I'd let you know something so I wanted to try and at least get this post in. Good Luck Mook and any that are having problems sleeping.
