~~~HAPPY THANKSGIVING~~~ I hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. You are always in my thoughts, and I am so thankful for the many friends that I have made on this board. Special wishes for special people. Happy Thanksgiving my friends. ~~Thanksgiving Day~~~ This is Thanksgiving Day with family and friends around Some of them live here and some come from out of town It's a day that's set aside for all to come together And give thanks for all our blessings as well as for each other We seldom take the time to let each other know Just how very blessed we are and let our feelings show We sit around a table and share a big Thanksgiving meal But very seldom tell each other how blessed we really feel And when the day comes to an end and the feasting is all done We sit around and chat awhile and watch the children run They say how good the food was and nice the day has been Then we all prepare to journey home to the normal life again Thanksgiving Day comes once a year and this seems sort of sad That just one day is set aside to give thanks for all we've had If everyday was Thanksgiving how happy the world would be To share the peace the joy the love like on Thanksgiving Day. Thank you Sami - we do need to express our thanksgiving all the time since we all are blessed with way more than we really need and have an abundance of life's blessings. I am thankful for family members, friends her and everywhere. An attitude of gratitude goes a long way. Sami - you and your family have a good Thanksgiving and hope everyone here has a good day.
Thank you Sami. Although I am here in Quebec at the moment, my thoughts will be with a couple of my kids in TX.
Sami - we do miss you here - you need to come in here more often - you are too missed. Have a wonderful day yourself.
Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! I just hope it's a tad warmer for you than us - it's 1°F windchill and 15°F. Mental images of the settlers and Indians feasting in appreciation of the autumn's bounty somehow don't coincide with this frigid blast.
77 degrees and sweating our butts off here in Tampa Bay jrw, and I wouldn't wanna trade with ya by no means but at least having it in the 50's or 60's would be better than this.
