E-MAIL PRIVACY

Can somebody please tell me if my e-mail address is showing or is private?

I can't get it to be hidden and since re-registering on this site I have been getting a shit load of spam e-mails.

It is hidden. My spam is the same as always...LOL.

 

How do we de-register? I don't think i want to be part of this forum anymore. I had never received ANY spam e-mail and now I am getting 10 a day. It is not a coincidence that the spam e-mails started the day I re-registered to this site...

 

no spam in my e-mail. None. Nassman, go to your profile. In the left column there is a deactivate account tab.

nope....none for me either... in fact...i generally hear crickets chirrping in my inbox...

 

I am getting alot of unwanted email as well..and i think my addy is showing..i have tried to say hidden..amy ideas?

 

No, no spam in mine either and yes, my email is showing to me too...but I gather to no one else.

But if anyone does see mine as not hidden please let me know. :-\

I haven't been able to get my email hidden (having computer problems too). So I set mine to a yahoo account I opened solely to play games. I just checked it and I don't have any spam there. I'm not sure why you've got all those spams.

ok tracy..i re signed in just before posting the last message..i haven't gotten anymore spam since..but i do see that my envelope is showing under my name??

I know I have an envelope, but I'm told mine is hidden.

 

Mine says hidden, but I can see it.

 

I can only see an envelope under mine and tracy's..maybe I can see mine but no one else can..i wonder..it's rather confusing for me today after the past cpl days ..I think I am only jsut starting to get a brain back!!!!

I can't get my email hidden, that's why you see an envelope on mine. Everyone else has been able to get their email hidden. I think most everyone can see an envelope under their own name, but no one else can.
