A Tribute To The Man I love

I knew it, the first time I saw You,
You were Mine, and I was Yours.
We've been together ever since.
We've Grown and Learned Together.
We've made Mistakes.
£ife doesn't come with a How-To pamphlet,
We move onto the next Obstacle in Our Path to Happiness,
And We Overcome, still together, still Holding Hands.
We have Wonderful Children, and Wonderful Family.
Oh, sure, they make Bad Choices, but all we can do is advise,
And watch them Falter and Fall,
Stumble and Trip,
Dust Themselves off, and proceed to £ive, the Best They know how.
One day they'll look back on these times, and Maybe they'll say,
"I should have listened to My Parents,
They were wise. They £oved me as no Other will,
They Supported me when Others would have walked away.
But, they are not Others, They are My Parents, and as God leads His Sheep,
And Holds all €features in His Hands, They Guide Me and £ove Me....
As no other €an.
And now My Love, You are facing a trial with your Health.
I will be Your Researcher, I will be Your Support,
Because Our Wedding Vows included the, "words," "Til Death do Us Part, and In Sickness and in Health."
This I Pray, at the end of the Day,
When I'm all alone, surrounded by what We have Built, all Alone with my £ove for You,
And my €aring.
Know that I €herish what We have.
Know that You are My World.
Know that I will Survive, but You will always be in my HEART.
