You'll never believe what I did with an electric frying pan

    My stove/oven is broken. We can't replace it without a semi-major renovation to the house (no one makes this style any more.)

    I'm going to my brother's for a Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. I'm baking cookies in an electric frying pan! It actually works.

    Where there's a will there's a way! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

    I had a friend do that in college. Couldn't believe it. Glad you used your imagination!

    REALLY!!!!! Wow, that's cool!

    We only get fancy when the power goes out. Then I fire up the woodburner and at least we can boil and fry stuff...including any cats who don't remember their little toe pads sizzling the last time they jumped up there.

    Interesting idea!
    I don't know why I didn't think of it before. I've had fried bread, yum!, and I have made english muffins in the skillet, but cookies, I wonder if they'd taste better this way because I use cast iron which makes any other skillet type foods better than other metals.
