I have to have the wisdom tooth out sooner than later before I get to the oto. I guess I will call but does anyone know whether the epinephren in xylocaine is a problem? I think it's purpose is to constrict blood vessels and reduce bleeding so I am wondering if that is bad for Meniere's like caffeine and nicotine?
Hmmmm.....can't recall if it makes my MM symptoms any worse, but it does give me the jitters for a while.....
My dentist uses Carbocaine. I react to the novacaine, not sure if it is the epi or the preservative that is in it.
Me too long prior to MM. It makes me jittery even without the epi I think but never gave me a typical allergic reaction. I am going to tell him to use whatever he used last time. The oto's nurse said no problem with advil, xylocaine or vycodin, the three meds he prescribed last time.
