Re: The importance of a MRI. Multiple sclerosis. It can have some symptoms in common with Meniere's and mri is sometimes used to confirm diagnosis. Like Meniere's the severity of the disease varies from person to person. "Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord).
