Where No One Can See My Tears

Is there a place to hide,
From all the pain that is inside?
A place separated from the fears,
Where no one can see my tears?

In the dark I sit and cry.
I can’t give the answers why.
The only place I can be is here,
Where no one can see my tears.

I am an island that no man can find,
I have a might fortress around my mind.
I am alone a side from their jeers.
Where no one can see my tears.

It is safe here, no doubt.
They cannot hurt me if I block them out.
So here I’ll stay without fear.
Where no one can see my tears.

we cannot see the tears from your eyes, but we look into your eyes (if only in our minds) and we see the tears there. THank you for posting this lovely poem again.
