I'm looking for good wine brands that can be bought at Wal-Mart and aren't crazy expensive.

Aliza I'm still standing, alone but upright

I hear Virgin wines are good. Maybe Wal-Mrt carries it, not sure. Bottoms up! :)

I don't drink so I have no idea. Some of the better stores have a sommelier who can counsel you on the different types of wine, depending on your taste.

Believe it or not, my favorite wine varietals are from a brand called Rex Goliath. Can be found at Wal-Mart for about $5.00 a bottle! My favorite is the Free Range White or the Sauvignon Blanc. For something slightly more expensive, my all time favorite is Cupcake Vineyards. I read a review of their wines in a wine magazine and gave it a shot. For less than $10 a bottle try their Sauvignon Blanc or their red blend, Red Velvet. Hope this helps.

Yellow Tail is a good, affordable Aussie wine. I tend not to like their Chardonnay, but I am not a big fan of Chardonnay anyway.
