Three Word Story...add on please!!

I love the community poetry thread...Let's try to write a continuing story together...using just three words at a time! Try to make sure to read all the responses here before you reply so the story hopefully makes sense. Add punctuation too!!


So, say I started with:

Once upon a-time ( ok I cheated! hehe!)

then the next person would add to that (but don't copy and paste...just add your three words...and so on!! It should be fun!

three sisters, who

 

had never married.

 

The local children

 

never walked past

 

the house because

 

they were afraid

 

of what they

 

might see there.

 

Then one day

 

the three sisters

 

sent out invitations

 

to their neighbors

 

to join them

 

for an evening

 

at their house.
