smoke the house steaks

    This is really good but it's done so fast you have to have everything else done first.

    Steak
    Cast iron skillet
    oil
    kosher salt for those that dont mind such
    Pepper

    Heat the skillet in the oven 500 degrees, when both oven and skillet are up to temp put the skillet on a burner on high,
    take your steaks coat them with oil and salt and pepper. Put the steaks in the skillet and count to 20 flip the steaks and put the whole thing in the oven for 3 min. take it back out flip the steaks again. 3 min. for med. steaks if they are not too thick and 5 for well done.
    Let them rest for 5 min. out of the oven and they are ready. During this whole process I set off the smoke alarm!
