I've always sang; if I'm not singing, I'm not happy! My chorale group has recently started back up, and I've stepped down from singing Soprano 1 to Soprano 2. It physically hurts to go above the high F, just a few months ago I had no problem. My Baritone range has deepened a note or two as well.

I'm a bit sad, but I'm choosing to look at this as a challenge: Singing Soprano 2 is more difficult, as you automatically want to soar with the Soprano 1s, meaning you must tune them out, but keep everyone else in mind. Yeah, right. As if! ;)

    Dae'sThorn,

I'm sorry about your loss of voice.. I am a fanatic opera lover with dozens of favorite arias from famous operas. There is one thing I won't do: stop listening operas.. I will do it even if it hurts my affected ear.

    Sorry,

    Bert
