REV...Are we doing the football league this year?

OK, another so-so week here. Went 8-5 on Sunday. Who figured the Steelers, Giants, Cowboys, and Seahawks would all lay eggs on Sunday? As they use to say at Oat Willies, "Onward through the fog."

 

Will post the scores when they put last night's game into the totals. So far 11 of us are tied for first place with an 8-5 record! Looks like the race for first is a little tighter between Ken and Bill.

Rev has taken over the lead from Piggy, but only by a few points...remember we have 15,000 riding on this : ;D! Sherry is creeping closer to the top, only 1.5 games out! The top 8 are all within 6.5 games, so they all still have a good chance to end up first! The last two weeks are probably going to be trickier, just like this week's games. Anything can happen!

I didn't say it was weird, just that it's obviously different from football.

I *do* think football is a hodge-podge. I can't *imagine* anyone making up a game like this from scratch; it had to have evolved.

 

Chicago beat Greenbay. I was 5-2 in the early games.

Poor Miami is getting the snot beat out of them at New England right now. 28 -0 with 2 or 3 minutes left in the first half.
I went 3 - 4 in the first round. Chicago beat GB and Cincinnati beat Cleveland, my 2 big losses.

Do you actually have to watch the games to see how you are doing?

No why would you have to watch the games? I just look up the scores on NFL.com to see how I'm doing!
