If you have had a laby and mm acts up in the other ear will you still get rotational vertigo?

I was told in 1995 that I had mm in both ears but it is so different this time that I have lots of questions.

So far my dizzies have not been rotational. I am note sure if that is bacause the dizzies have not been as violent as
they were before. Also they last much longer this time (most of every waking moment for 7 weeks)
before they were from an hour up to a week and even occured when I was sleeping.
In the past the vertigo was so intense my vision would go black, thank goodness that has not happened this time.
