MTV is set to debut a news show featuring an entire cast of people with disabilities on Sunday, February
What I like about this show is that it will capture........... "" it's just a chance to look through someone else's eyes and see the world in ways you've never seen it before""

8 at 10:30 PM EST. 'How's Your News?' first began ten years ago at a summer camp for adults with disabilities in Massachusetts. The goal was to create a news show featuring individuals with as wide an array of disabilities, as possible.

In that spirit, 'How's Your News?' can be seen not as exploitation of people who have intellectual disabilities but rather as the expression of a subculture that has much to contribute to the mainstream but never had much of an opportunity. TV critics have said the show is upbeat and moving. Washington Post style columnist Tom Shales writes, "The show isn't really "about" disabilities; it's just a chance to look through someone else's eyes and see the world in ways you've never seen it before. It could be part of a course in the humanities, or just a course in humanity. It's also a wickedly entertaining half-hour, one you'll never regret having surrendered to your television set."
