Not exactly a recipie, but try mixing equal parts (by volume) of black pepper, paprika and garlic powder. This makes a great rub for grilling or BBQ. The flavoer improves if you let what your are cooking sit for an hour before hand.

I do a lot of cooking in the crock pot during the winter. One of my husband's favorites that I created, by accident: Chicken or turkey cutlets (the tender part, thin sliced) Lightly saute the cutlets in olive oil until brown on both sides Sprinkle with curry powder and transfer to crock pot Add the following to your pan with the turkey/chicken scrapings: 2 very ripe tomatoes diced 2 cloves of garlic minced 1 small onion chopped 1 cup dry white wine (don't worry, the alcolol will burn off during the cooking process) Add extra curry, pepper or other spices to taste. Cook on high until juices start to evaporate Then pour it all over the chicken/turkey, cover and cook on low for 6 hours I serve it with brown rice and a green veggie
