    Leela

    Out beyond the city
In a house that is plain
Leela sits in an arm chair
    And slowly goes insane

    She conjures up her fantasies
    Gives them all a name
    Creates her clans of rivalry
    And so begins the game

    Transported by her visions
    Goaded by her dreams
    Her slow descent to madness
    Takes her to the extremes

    Leela fears the devil
    In a pretty red dress
    Her brain is so maligned
    That she starts to obsess

    Surrounded by the wildnerness
    No human within sight
Poor Leela in her arm chair
    Believes that she is right

    The story has an ending
    It's not a happy one
A winter's night when all was quiet
She went and got her gun

I didn't see it going there. Another intriguing poem! :)

I hadn't planned it that way. The words just came out.
