Randy got home from working the night shift this morning to find 2 ambulances, 2 firetrucks and 3 cop cars blocking our driveway. It scared the crap out of him because he couldn't tell whose house they were at and he knew that when he left last night that I wasn't feeling well. He ditched his truck and ran home to find that I was ok.

I'm grateful that I didn't need those emergency vehicles!!

I'm also hoping that my neighbour is ok :(

A cop has been sitting outside my neighbours all day. I think something serious must have went down for a cop to still be there. :/ Most of the day there weren't any neighbours there that I saw but late evening people returned.

They didn't seal it off as a crime scene or have forensics come in ... just detectives.

    Any thoughts?

The cops finally left this morning after more detectives came. :/

I still have no idea what happened nor do my other neighbours. Weird and worrisome.

There was a notice in our mailbox this evening announcing that our neighbour ( in his 30's ) died in hospital on Sunday :( The same neighbour where all the police action was.

I'm not sure the circumstances of his death but I know he was having stomach/intestinal tract problems over the last year but that doesn't really explain the police presence for 24 hours :/

For those of you that pray please say a prayer for him and his wife and family and his beloved dog Trypp.

I'm grateful for everyday that I wake up to enjoy another day. RIP Stephan.

I had the opportunity to offer my condolences to the widow across the street :( She is absolutely devastated and just sobbed while I spoke to her. It is so incredibly sad.

I didn't ask for details (obviously) but she mentioned that she woke up in the morning and he wasn't breathing. :(

Very sad time and of course prayers for them.

I'm grateful for being able to hold my beliefs with a light grip, keep my mind open, and keep learning.
