Derek Jeter one of the most respected players in baseball. I hope he has a great year. He is going out with class. Will miss his leadership. What a role model for all.

What I admired most about Jeter is even in New York, he never became a sideshow, stayed out of the media, out of trouble with all the temptations and steroid crap. He just played the game the way it should be played with all out hustle and respect for the game and his opponents. A definite role model for all the young kids who looked up to him. He did it with class even though I hate the Yankees, I liked and respected Jeter. My favorite players were Ripken, Griffey and Jeter. Now with all of them gone I will pull for Trout and Pedroia and Machado!
