Mine went all the way to the mid-40s and sometimes 50s at the beginning.

Why did it go up? I thought you were at 15k or so a few weeks ago?

My current BT is 10k now.

Mine's hovering around the mid 10s as well.

If it goes up it means there's a need for it. Maybe you have an ailment or something of the sort, etc. Can't really say - just that the body knows best.

I'm exercising a lot more. Read that it would go up that way.

I'm going to give this a go again after the holidays. Messed with me pretty bad last time I tried it but could have been something else going on as well.

Just do it! Be a VMSissy! ;D

I would recommend just biting the bullet and going BT in one day. It'll save on a lot of overthinking that you do when you go up slowly. But that's just my opinion.

What kind of C were you taking? Was it ascorbic acid and nothing else? If it was a complex, then something else in there might have messed with your system.

I started slowly and then just went for it after about a week, if i recall correctly. The last few days i was just increasing by 4-5k per day.

But if i could do it again, i'd do it all in one day.

No, it's not painful. I had to stop taking C before my surgery and i went BT today in one day and it wasn't painful at all. You just go until you have to go. haha

Anyway, I would just taper up until you hit BT and then start tracking it downwards. I started slow just to be safe because you never know if you'll have a bad reaction to it.

I'll keep an eye on this thread to see how things go.

Yeah, listen to Ray. I'm just crazy and shouldn't be giving advice post-surgery jacked up on meds. ;D

    No worries.

    Ray

P.S. Make sure you get just vitamin C and nothing else. Not rose hips, or anything else added to it. Just plain ole vitamin C (ascorbic acid).

You're on your own now! Bwahahahaha!

No seriously, it's not hard. Don't overthink it. And don't tell your MAVer friends what you're doing. They might not let you into their clubhouse anymore! ;D ;D ;D

The price we pay for glory.

Btw, is MAV viral? This may not work at all for you. But even if it doesn't, it'll be nice not getting sick nearly as much in the future.
