I have a couple questions about FMLA and I know there are many who have been through this so I hope you can help me - I'm asking for a friend who is planning on taking medical leave next month to take care of a sick family member. Is it permissible for him to make up his own hours during this time? He needs the money and wants to be able to work as much as possible but may be able to only work 4 hours one day, none the next etc. Also, can he work a part time job evenings? His evenings will be free so if possible he would like to take up another job to make up for the lost income. Any answers would be most appreciated. Jane
