    Absolutely Maggie,

I too suffer from this horrible condition. I call this sound disequilibrium. I have digital aids and I have to switch off when driving, since the noise of the car makes me feel light-headed and nauseous.

Also, it can happen anywhere, where there is noise. I have to pop a pill and take a seat, till it passes.

It is a real pain, having to constantly switch the aids off and on with this condition.

I often don't wear any aids in the evenings, when watching telly with captions. I just need the peace and quiet after a day of putting up with menieres noise!!

It is very exhausting living with this..Im only 40!
