    A lazy Sunday afternoon
I went to the beach and climbed up a dune
The golden sand tickled my toes
For a moment I felt released from all my woes

Woes that I've held on to for many a year
Bringing bushels of heartache and floods of tears
The water was warm as I stood by it's edge
Cleanse me I urged, my life to be different I pledged

I look up into the clear blue sky,
and yell, at the top of my lungs, WHY!
When I don't understand WHY, I trust Him because
We like little ants can't understand everything He does

He supports me through life's random unkindness

    New poem:

Through the forest I walked and thought, "here's a great spot",

How interesting Linda, this is what I was going to post -

A gentle wind caresses the trees as day give way to night.

Linda I rearranged it a bit, your line fits in beautifully at the end of that verse.
Rhymes so nicely with the first 2 lines. What do you think?
