Anyone getting Social Security?

    I get my social security on the 4th Wednesday of every month.So starting tomorrow,Jan.22nd I'll get my new rate,$1393.an increase of a whopping $22.

    that is not much, how do you live on so little?

    Well for one thing I get approximately $3950.per month in stock dividends in addition to my social security,also if I ever really need any help,my daughter lives across the bay in Hayward,she could help me out but so far thank God that has never happened.

    If I retire at 62, I'll take mine early. If I keep working, I'll take it as soon as I retire. Last estimate for taking it at 62 is $1,750. It was interesting because if I went on disability, it would be $2,300 NOW (age 58.)

    THAT IS BECAUSE IF YOU WENT ON DISABILITY, YOU WOULD GET FULL BENEFIT. ... SAME AS IF WAITING FOR 65.
