Hi Caroline! I hope you are well. I see that you have your neurotologist appointment approaching quickly. Is it with one of the specialists that we discussed? I sincerely hope it goes well. Let me know ok?

Yep... it is one of the ones you recommended.

Hard to get to see him though... referral was originally denied because his waiting list is over 18 months long so instead of going to Toronto I found a way to see him by going to Niagara Falls for the appt. It will be worth it though because I need his help.

Thanks for the help with that Nass/Perses.

Actually Nass, I thought of you on our recent trip to Niagara Falls. On the southern shore of Lake Ontario, I could see the beautiful city of Toronto. It was waaay in the distance, but visible on a crystal clear day. You can barely see it over my right shoulder.

After we shot the picture, I stared up your way. Winde asked me what I was doing. I told her I was trying to squint to see if I could find the NUCCA office, knowing my good buddy Nass was working just a couple of blocks away. I thought I saw you; but it might have been somebody else. It was a fair distance and my eyes are getting on.

A beautiful place Toronto is. But I gotta admit. I was a little paranoid standing so close to the home of both Nassman and Scott. (I had to make this post germane to the topic.)

    Ahhhh... that's so sweet.

I like that Nassman is back!! I missed you.

Hopefully you have given me the tool (the doctor) that will help solve my problem. I will definitely keep you posted and hopefully I will have good things to report.

LOL... good one Hank. Glad you enjoyed your trip to beautiful Niagara. Nice picture but where's the shot of you in front of the falls?

Thanks Hank... nice pic. I can almost hear the roar of the falls.

Did you get an opportunity to ride the Maid of the Mist?

Wow, quite the MM pic! It looks like the waterfall is roaring directly into each ear, and there is fogginess around your head...

There's always fogginess around my head, TM. Ther was an interesting atmospherice condition arounf the Canadian falls though. It's like there is a semi-permanent cloud above the falls. All that mist evaporates and forms a cloud. And as long as the wind is calm, tjhe cloud just stays there. It was an amazing site to see.

Another great pic! Very nice to see the falls too ... did you get any fudge while you were there? Can't miss that Niagara fudge.

Scott, we have some Falls Fudge in the trailer. Unless the monkey ate it.

Nah, no Maid of the Mist and no fudge. I gained 5 lbs on trip anyway. We just gawked at the falls. And I hate to say it, but I liked the American side better. You can see the falls better fro the Canadian side, but the American park was better that Yellowstone. It was awsome.

What was interesting was that we met up with a ranger on the American side. Winde asked the guy if anybody ever jumps off. He sais that one jumped off yesterday! And took her dog with her! Awful! He said that rarely do they ever find any remains. He said no telling how many of chosen to make there last stop Niagara Falls.

You want to start a fight about Canada? Do ya? Well, do ya, Hank?

The suicide thing is sad. The doing of it in such a public place even more poignant. The Golden Gate Bridge is another common (don't want to say "popular") one. If you walk across the first part (over land) it's fenced in so people can't jump off (that's practical, they could land on someone, someone has to clean up the remains) but once it's over water they can climb out. There's just those crisis 'phones. Heart breaking.

The view of the Falls from the Maid of the Mist is spectacular. You get a real feel for the height and the power of the Falls. The roar when you are at the bottom is intense.

I highly recommend that you take the boat next time you visit.

I have never been to the park on the American side but will check it out next time I am there.

Scott... the Fudge is great but I have to buy those Maple Sugar Maple Leaf candies when I am there... Mmmmmmm

TM... you are so right on your comparison of MM to the picture..

How can you go to the Falls and not buy fudge? We ate most of it on the way home!
